Geoff McFetridge spoke at Cal Poly last night. I can’t believe I’ve never heard of him before. He’s amazing.
Project that stood out to me the most was probably these. He drew 100 drawings which Nike then made into shoes. Buyers received a photocopy of the original drawing that was destroyed to make the shoe.
Something about the whole “value” aspect he went over was really interesting. Would people value the original drawing or a recycled shoe?
